Queer Women's History Month Special Edition Postcard: Sylvia Rivera

This Women's History Month, we are paying tribute to the queer trailblazers who have changed the LGBTQ+ community forever. 

Sylvia Rivera, a pioneering transgender activist of Puerto Rican and Venezuelan descent, played a crucial role in the LGBTQ+ rights movement, fighting tirelessly for the inclusion of transgender people, drag queens, and marginalized queer individuals. she co-founded Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries (STAR) with Marsha P. Johnson and was involved in the Stonewall Riots.
