When we first met, the spark was instantaneous—a connection that hummed with possibility. But fate had other plans. ⁣

One of us boarded a plane, creating a geographical pause in our budding romance. What could have been a moment of separation became our most profound connection.⁣

Those two weeks apart weren’t an ending, but a beautiful beginning. Our messages became more than texts—they were love letters, raw and vulnerable. We shared everything: our deepest fears that had lived in shadows, our proudest moments that made our hearts soar, those deliciously awkward stories that make us beautifully human.⁣

What started as digital dispatches transformed into a ritual of love: handwritten cards arriving weekly, torn open with anticipation, each envelope a promise of intimacy and understanding, sealed with a sticker to match the theme of the card. It has become a competition between the two of us to see who can find the better card-sticker combo!

From Spark To Shelf

After a year of sending cards and letters to each other, we were annoyed by the fact that it was so difficult to find queer greeting cards that truly represented us and our relationship. So... we decided, why not make our own?

What started as an idea on a Saturday morning in bed, became a hunt for the best paper quality that feels great to hold, is easy to write on without smudging or bleeding, and makes you want to tell your people how much you love them.

And so Pride & Petals was born - a celebration of love in all its glorious, colorful complexity.⁣
